"The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is proud to be a partner in this effort to create an asset for the neighborhoods of South Minneapolis and the region. The Midtown Greenway will add recreation, transit, green space, connections for neighborhoods and neighbors, public art and a path from the western suburbs to the Mississippi River. The Greenway and its integration into the surrounding neighborhoods will bring a unique and vital element to the urban landscape. I am excited to be part of this process, helping strengthen the environmental and recreational resources of our area." — Marie Hauser
